OCON Termite & Pest Control, Inc. was established in 1979 by Jack and Barbara O’Connell. By that time, Jack had already spent 20 years in our industry with another company. With their focus on personalized customer service and quick response, Jack and Barbara quickly built OCON into Western Connecticut’s premier Pest Management firm.

Right from the beginning, Barbara’s oldest son, Steve Temple, was involved in the company. He learned the business hands-on between semesters at college and joined the firm full-time in December of 1984. When Jack and Barbara retired in the Spring of 1997, Steve took the reins as OCON President. Even with the remarkable growth OCON has experienced, we continue to provide the same high-quality, timely service that got us where we are.
